Actor Lane Garrison, who was sentenced to 40 months in prison for the DUI death of a teenage boy, has been released from prison after serving less than half of his sentence.

The former “Prison Break” star, who pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter in 2007, was released from the California Correctional Institute in Tehachapi on Wednesday.  A prison spokeswoman said Garrison earned enough credit from good behavior to earn early release.
